OK so it sounds simply that you don't have drivers for your monitor installed. Do you still have your CD or have you searched online for drivers for your model?

Well the chances are that you can't as drivers are funny things at the best of times. What is the make and model of your monitor?

OK A quick search revealed that the last/only driver released for that monitor was for Vista and 32 bit.

It must be worth trying it to see if it is compatible. It should be as most Vista drivers are 7 compatible the only issue could be if you are a 64 bit system.
A look at the package seems to have two specific versions of the driver the LBQ and the LC3, I am guessing that LC3 could stand for LCD.

Try them both if need be and see if that solves your issue. If not you may need to think about a newer screen, at least theya re quite cheap these days.

Driver(s) attached.

Just an update, since the changes to my PC I now have the screen that I used to get years ago on FS9, whereby I can record not only a/c and flight time but also the to and from airfields. The 24 ins HD screen gives me a far better experience in FS9.

Hi, Have just checked the cfg file under user/users/etc and discovered that it still indicates my old replaced Graphic Card, yet on checking fs9 itself under Hardware it indicates the new one. How do I resolve this please?I placed the old cfg file in another folder (old cfg) ran fs9 yet the cfg still indicates my old Card?

OK just in case somebody else gets this problem, just rename your fs9.cfg. When you restart FS9 it will generate a new one with the correct card in it. You can then simply copy that part to your saved cfg or copy everything from your saved cfg EXCEPT that old graphics card to the new cfg file.
I would be interested in why you had the issue.

When Win 10 came out and there were a lot of people that had problems with black screens in full screen mode, i was one, and I worked out that it was due to that. Simply get the correct graphic card entry and the problem goes away. It was never a problem before 10 you could leave ancient card entries in your cfg and it would never have an issue. With 10 it seems to look for the correct card.
