RWAI A-10C Native FSX Model

Post by Reggie »

Greetings all,

In a general search for the RWAI A-10, I found the following:

AVSIM Library
library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=chile+elevat...
RWAI A-10A Thunderbolt 917th TFG Barksdale AFB Air Force Reserve .... Contains native FSX model, specular and bump map, simple paintkit and 3D gauges.

When I click on the link, I cannot find the aircraft model. If this is a "native" FSX model, I think it will work in P3Dv4 if I convert the textures, yet I can't find it anywhere.

Can someone help me locate it?

Thanks,
Reggie

If it has gauges, it's not the RWAI model. Sounds like someone messed up some documentation for either the IRIS or Aerosoft model.

Once again there is no FSX model for the A-10, yet.

Next project on my list. It' will come in handy for Ian and the work he's doing with his FSX/P3Dv4 RAF Alconbury scenery. I'll also spin off new FS9 models on the way.

Yes I think I did. With the increasing interest here in conversion for FSX/P3Dv4 I was just trying to avoid potential duplication of effort with an early heads up. It's an aircraft I've always wanted to model, but the existence of the FS9 one rather prevented that until now.

Trust me when I say that the heads up announcement is most welcome.
