I know it's according to WikiPedia, "Although Bogue Field has no aircraft permanently assigned, it serves as a training facility primarily for AV-8 Harriers from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. However, it is also used for practice approaches by KC-130 Hercules transports from MCAS Cherry Point, F/A-18 Hornet fighters from MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina and helicopters from MCAS New River, North Carolina." I also understand V-22s use the place.
With a MilViz C-130J in development, some awesome Harriers & Ospreys out there and some great freeware Hornets out there - not to mention a current Mayor in Katie (Higgins) Cook of great historical note. Real hero.
I ask because,
a) Well I'm acquaintances in good standing with the current field's Mayor's husband who flew me with Major Mark Hamilton like two real heroes over Seafair 2015 for the best 15 minutes of my life. Made me rethink life and my time on this Earth, and refocused a big part of my life...
b) Namely I'm also as a civilian advocate kinda, sorta responsible for OLF Coupeville on Whidbey Island - well represented by vLSO. Not a Mayor (yet!). But right now kicking off efforts to reform the land use around OLF Coupeville. So love to be able to take a Miryadi V-22 or RAZBAM AV-8B out for a spin to see in flight sim a 3-D view of how Bogue deals with land use issues so photoscenery also for about 10 miles in each direction around the base much appreciated please.
So yeah I'm shocked KNJM's not in FSX/P3D in 2018!
