NH-90
Re: NH-90
Thanks very much for this test. I hope to get a look at this this w/e depending upon how the F-35 stuff is going.

Re: NH-90
If this is the beginning...
I've had the time to setup a quick flight for it. I'm really impressed, especially by the smoothness of the Take-off and landing animation.
I think I'll start to collect photos for the Italian Army and Navy assets...
Could be useful when it'll be ready.
Really good job Proximo.

Re: NH-90
Very cool!! Germany tries to use them as well...
Will there be an FSX version as well?

Re: NH-90
Just a couple of things I noticed you may already know.
The rear Ramp does't touch the ground, and the animation of the right door, open and close it many time, during the approach.

Hello
Thank you for your comments and useful feedbacks.
For bismarck:
Lower cargo ramp will be fixed.
Rh cargo door, I know about it, will be fixed by change of value in xml code, at this moment rh door is controlled by nav light and prop max rpm %, value will be changed from 15 to 5% (prop still range).
For JohnTeen:
Gap will be fixed by added simply poly.
Light texture on the ramp - checked in my sim and not observed, all outer polys are same smoothing group, now I dont know
Next week I will prepare more versions for beta testing, especially navy with animated sonar.
So question: do you know minimal flight level/altitude useable in flightplan over the sea, because sonar is extended below 200 ft radio height.
And one more guestion: looking for the painter, who will be able to adopt/finish my basic paintkit (some lines, panels and so on)

Re: NH-90
In IFR FP the aircraft flies at 1.500 or 2.000 feet (can't remember) even if FP height is set to a lower value.
In VFR FP, the lowest altitude can be set at 100 feet.

Just a quick one from me...
She seems to sit with the wheels sunk a bit too much into the surface.

New demo version ready for testing, see post above
Reworking all bugs, which were reported, added some extra features, reworking landing gear, because gear compression is not working on ai planes, so plane look like max loaded and is seated more on the ground
7 models inside zip file
Oman air force
14 seats and external fuel tank
10 seats and animated onboard gun machine with 2 gun crewmembers (visible below 1500 ft radio height)
HKP 14 A
20 seats, first model with fixed gear and ski, second model with retractable gear
French navy
Transport version 14 seats, no sensors
ASW 2× Mu-90 torpedos, 2 extra crewmembers, animated telescopic sonar below 300 ft plane alt / VFR flight, folding main rotor blades and fuselage tail
ASuW 2× Marte mk-2s, 1 extra crewmember, folding main rotor blades and fuselage tail

Re: NH-90
I want to ask you for the help:
Looking for the painter, who will be able to finish / adopt paint kit
Help with configuration, because there is a lot of options / possibilities in configuration of interior and external load

Re: NH-90
Hello Lukas,
Impressive job and it looks ok for me too
I checked 4 versions on the manufacturer flightline in Marseille/Provence LFML and they look great.
(sorry for the late reply, lot of work these days)

Re: NH-90
Hello all MAIW staff
I have one question, especialy for aircraft designers, xml codes creators and scenery designers.
My question is: is here ( at MAIW ) set/determine standard for heli take off from naval ships?
I want to create specific models of NH-90 to be operated from the ship decks.
I know, it depends on specific scenery, but....
Any ideas?
Best regards
Lukas

Re: NH-90
Hello Giorgio
I know this package
Navy versions ( asw, asuw ) in demo v2 are using very similar take off animation ( controled by strobe light ) like Merlin
Thank you
Lukas
