Thanks Maurizio, I can see what I did. 8701 and 8702 are "69" and I just carried on with that prefix. I'll hold fire from releasing a correction at the moment, just in case anyone discovers anything else.

Absolutely top draw stuff John. Given the amount of F-35s being built in real life the FS world is going to get a whole lot busier.

Well, you weren't entirely wrong. 79-8703 started life as 69-8703 and even flew with that registration before being renumbered.

Now whether it it gets a designation like Lightning FGR1 later on we will have to see.
And the Israel F-35's are known as the F-35i Adir. :)

I have it ready. Just out of interest, what is it you want to paint?

Hi,

Just wanted to say how much I love the AI F-35 and really appreciate the level of effort that was involved in these packages :)

I'm having some trouble with converting the FS9 Patuxent scenery to FSX. As far as I know I've followed the instructions in the F-35B package readme; just in case I'll run through my steps.

1) Downloaded the file MAIW_NAS_Patuxent_River_2018_update_FS9.zip from the download hangar. Inside the folder FS9/Addon Scenery I copied the two files: MAIW Land Class and MAIW Patuxent River NAS (KNHK) and pasted them into my FSX/Addon Scenery.

2) I deleted the following files from the scenery folder and pasted in the files found within the FSX scenery folder for Patuxent River that came with the F-35B package
0_Patuxent_VTPX.bgl
 GGv3_XTrees_lib9_0.bgl
 KNHK_FSGEnesis-Mesh-Flatten_LWM2_2m.bgl
 Patuxent_Object_Library
 Patuxent_Trees_Placement_file.bgl
 PAX1_ADE9_HU_GP.bgl
 PAX1_ADE9_HU_OBJ.bgl
 PaxRiver_VTPL.bgl
 PaxRiver_VTPP.bgl

3) I installed the FSX taffic files into FSX/Scenery/World/Scenery and started up FSX and loaded the sceneries via the scenery library. For some reason this is what I see when I load the flight..

Sorry if I've missed something but I thought I'd double check. Once again thanks for the brilliant work as usual!

Cameron.

Cameron, the first thing I would check is that you have replaced the 16 AFCAD (AF_2) FS9 files with the ones in the FSX zip. It looks like at least one of them has an elevation of 6.56ft (FS9). They should all be at 39ft for FSX to avoid those chasms.

Many many thanks for these packages John(and team) - amazing stuff as always!! One very little required correction I've noticed is the '79' coded JASDF birds have '69' on the actual paint. An understandable tiny error when you are compiling so many paints!! Thanks again!!

Yes indeed, that was reported on the 6 April (above). Just waiting to see if anything else needs correcting.

Hi John,

Thanks for getting back to me. Originally I'd just copied and pasted the FSX AFCADs into the folder and let it overwrite the FS9, instead I deleted the FS9 ones first and then replaced them with the FSX ones and that's done the trick thank you!

I notice you say there are 16 AFCAD files, I can only see 15 in my folder; am i missing one?

Cameron.

MAIW_AF2_0NHK_CUSTOM_mod_HU.bgl

It's further down the list of scenery files because of the "MAW" prefix.

FS9 & FSX flightplans for the 3 Norwegian based F-35A.

The tail-chute fitted serial deploys from Oerland to Bardufoss for a few days during the week for cold weather trials.

The other 2 fly from Oerland to several Norwegian bases and a couple in Finland and Holland.

Coming up soon, in my Airports of Norway package. If you take a peek at John's readme for the F-35 A's, he already did a great job to point you into the right direction. Btw my existing ENOL will work for you anyway. My ENOL is actually all the models from the "Norway Airports" package, where I have permission to continue that gem done my way.

Thanks for info Andrew. I forgot to say that I'm looking for fs9 version! From what I can see on Norway airports site, not available for fs9?
