Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
What MAIW package are the Hawaii F-22's in? I can't find them (looking for the flightplans for them).
Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
The simple answer is that they weren't.
They were done by Mark Heimer on his website, which has been down for a while.

Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
Have installed these into my sim and converted FP’s except for the Edwards birds. Does anyone have plans for KEDW F22’s or can point me in the right direction. Ta

Just had a little check - the 07-4132 serial should read 06-4132.
Use this one instead

Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
I am using this package in FSX and removed all of the older aircraft. Unfortunately none of the new planes are showing up. I looked and everything is in the right place. The one thing I did notice in the model folders is that the mdl files are labeled P3D. Is this why I am not seeing them in FSX? Do I need to rename them or am I missing something?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
Grimreaper, the description in the download section should have given you the answer:
"This freeware package contains the NBAI Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, created by Nick Black and converted for P3Dv4 by the team of Gavin Cole. The converted model ensures that the NBAI Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor displays correctly in P3Dv4."
And also in the download info block: "Compatibility P3Dv4".
The F-22 is compiled in native P3Dv4 format which means no backward compatibility with older P3D versions and FSX, nothing you can do about that if you are on FSX.
Henk.

Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
I took all of the model files from the previous F22 folders and replaced the P3D model files. I also changed the air file and it works well. I like having the dds textures and also having all of the F22 aircraft in one folder.
Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
can these be used in FSX?

Re: MAIW NBAI F-22 Raptor Conversion Support
Can anyone confirm afterburners fx and night textures on these? Running the P3Dv4 models in P3Dv5, while checking Oceana NBAI Hornets, I noticed the nearby F-22s from Langley were dark. I've checked the aircraft.cfg light section.
