According to the J-HangarSpace Bulletin Board the JASDF 302 Hikotai F-35A that crashed last Wednesday 10th April was the fifth aircraft AX-05 the first assembled by Mitsubishi 79-8705.

My guess is that there is some frantic double checking around that production line.
