Black Spots on Parking Spots and Runway Scenery Problems at NAS Lemoore

I just noticed this tonight, its the first time I have ever seen this, any idea what it is and how to fix it?

The second one is due to either a scenery library missing altogether or a texture missing or corrupt.

Can you confirm which scenery or package you are using?

Hello Steve, it was the one that was installed with the matrix installer, no other package was loaded besides the MAIW matrix package

Somehow you seem to have conflicting sceneries for KNLC.

Do you have ORBX SoCal installed? Or anything else from ORBX in the region?

I have global vector, open LC NA and global base.

Whats odd is that it was fine a week ago when I flew out of there.

The next obvious question is what have you added/removed/modded since you flew out of there a week ago?
I know that most people are tempted to say nothing because they didn't think that what they installed would cause a problem, but everything needs to be listed. The reason is that I once had a Pakistani AB scenery that added a massive 200' high wall right across KSEA!

Can we assume that you had the Matrix installed when you took the flight that was OK?

If you have a util like Everything on your PC use that to search for 'KNLC' and 'Lemoore' to see what else shows up.

No, I have not installed anything besides the matrix package.

The only other lemoore package is on my FSX system, which I never use anymore

There doesn't seem to be anything there, I assume that the search for KNLC was equally fruitless.

Now I think we need to be clear about the timeline.
When you flew out of Lemoore and everything was fine, was that before or after you installed the Matrix?

You see the weird thing for me is that after checking the scenery from the last Lemoore package and the later released standalone package from John Stinstrom, I do not get the chevrons in front of the black squares like you do, unless I am looking in the wrong part of the base completely.
Now it maybe that somebody has modified the base for the conversion project and therefore I would not see it, or there is some other scenery or possibly library interference. The final possibility is that I am as blind as a bat.

If you are unsure on your configuration when it was fine then can I suggest that you uninstall the Matrix completely, try a flight and see what it looks like and then reinstall everything again and re-check. This is the only way that we can confirm what you thought, at least initially, that there was a fault in the Matrix installation.

Now that I look again, I'm quite sure that's the scenery from Henry Street, available here but not part of Matrix.

That one does contain the yellow ground markings and we've had reports on the forums before about black boxes due to a missing bgl file for the oil stains.

If you want to keep Henry's scenery, you can go to the settings tab in Matrix and disable KNLC.
