AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Hi
Anyone know of an AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
I really enjoy the JYAI_Blackhawk_Family with vertical lift-off. Fantastic job!
Thanks
Michael

Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
I have Nick Black's original FSDS source files but I have no plans to do anything with them at this point in time.
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
This is the one MAIW I really hope gets converted soon. I have a few packages that has the Blackhawks and UH-72 Lakota in them but I can't install them because they also include the Chinook.
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
The Chinooks are in the process of being converted.
Please be patient, they will be released once they are completed and tested.

Cool...
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Just out of curiosity, are there any plans to make the MH-47 or is that beyond the current scope of work?

Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
These are only conversions of existing models. There are no new models. These would be completely up to the original modellers or to new modellers doing new work.

Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Not sure if this is still relevant, but - for my own use only - I did a quick and dirty conversion using Arno's MCX which has worked perfectly well enough for my needs. I have all the previously-FS9 versions of the RAF's CH47 working in P3Dv4, which will do me until the professionals have had a look at it.
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
The professionals have The NBAI Chinook will be in one of the next conversion release batches.
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Great news I tried converting the Sea Kings to P3D for my own use and it didn't work at all!

Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Excellent news indeed. Incidentally, I also tried converting the RN Sea Kings, but despite looking fine in MCX and AIAE, nothing showed up in P3Dv4.
Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
Awesome news, profs. Thank you for this great announcement!

Re: AI Chinook for P3Dv4 ?
That is good news! I will finally be able to install the Florida Army National Guard based at Cecil Field. Plus a few other packages I have that have the Chinook, Blackhawk and UH-72's in them.
