First of all,
a big thanks to Lucas "Proximo" for the model, to M.McIntire for the FDE and to John for the textures.

As discussed with John,
once finished the repaints for Italian Army, the intention is to publish a package for it.
The package will include FP and sceneries for:
Viterbo (LIRV), updating something I produced some years ago
Casarsa (LIDK), brand new scenery
AFD for Rimini (LIPR), this require to donwload a scenery available on Flightsim.

All is for FS9 only.

I'm also working on FP and sceneries for Italian Navy.

Regards, Giorgio

An improved depiction of Italian Navy.

Hopefully a believable representation of French ALAT.

Thanks Miljan

I knew subconsciously that those colours were not accurate. Comes from Looking at Promotion Images.

While I did not use Miljan's colours, it get me looking at other sources. The colours on images differ due to a number of reasons.

This is what I came up with. Looking less out of place.

And since this has become a show and tell, another WIP.

French have this NATO three tone scheme but they use different shades. Especially this one on NH-90 is some bottle green - grass green .As I understood they have to factories that produce this color and even within armee de Terre there are differences in shade of green. Since I am a modeler as well I know from different topics what is the struggle for other modellers when they are making French Army vehicles.

BTW this looks much better

A few observations on the two NH-90 downloads

In the LHAI_NH-90_Part 1 package these entries relate to models that don't exist in the download

title=MRH 90 Taipan_ADF_ST_MED_exttankA_M1
model=ADF_ST_MED_exttankA_M1

title=MRH 90 Taipan_RANNL_14p_M1
model=RANNL_14p_M1

title=MRH 90 Taipan_RANNL_20p_exttankA_M1
model=RANNL_20p_exttankA_M1

In the Italy Army download the following textures are not used in the aircraft.cfg
texture
texture.EI221
texture.EI222
texture.EI223

I can help with the Italian Army ones.
They were 3 textures that were left in the package by accident. The package has since been updated with those 3 removed, so you are not missing anything there.

Australian NH-90's

Model included: "ADF_ST_MED_exttankA" is incorrectly named and should be "ADF_ST_MED_exttankA_M1"

The Royal Australian Navy models:

RANNL_14p_M1
RANNL_20p_exttankA_M1

are in the folder LHAI_MRH 90 Taipan RAN

John,
In that folder are:-
RANNL_ST_14p_M1
RANNL_ST_20p_exttankA_M1

rather than :-
RANNL_14p_M1
RANNL_20p_exttankA_M1

I think that what Jim needs is to know whether to amend the cfg or rename the models.

I would suggest changing the Aircraft CFG.

Model entries would then read:

model=RANNL_ST_14p_M1

and

model=RANNL_ST_20p_exttankA_M1

The ST refers to the intake and exhaust configuration.
The rest of the model folders in the whole series are named in a similar fashion.
