John's scenery works fine in FS9 Steve. It concentrates on the military side as you would expect, but his manual recommends a second scenery of Winnipeg International by Adam Bentley and David Madge to be installed in parallel. This scenery, which is at Avsim, adds the international terminal on the other side of the runway, but it's the pre-2011 terminal. Tony identifies which of the Bentley/Madge files need to be removed, but oddly, he doesn't give any instruction to remove the Bentley/Madge AFCAD file which is very similar to his and would otherwise cause a conflict.

If you could upload cywg_js.zip to the Hangar please in the way you suggested that would be useful. If you could use the package name "CFB Winnipeg for FS9" I'll cross refer to that in my CC-130 manual. I can also make the point about removing the duplicate AFCAD file. The upload will then complete the scenery options for all 3 sim versions for the 5 Canadian C-130 types.

Darren has done some work on the flight plans and I just need to finish them off and test them. I can then write the manual and package.

Following the hangar naming convention, it would have to be "Scenery CYWG CFB Winnipeg - Canada".

The Canadian C-130 packages feature the current 29 RCAF CC-130 aircraft comprising 5 different Hercules types: CC-130J-30, CC-130H-30, H73 (C130E), H84 and the CC-130HT tanker. These are all done for FS9 and for FSX/P3Dv4 and have been sent today to the Download Hangar. As always please allow Greg time to make them available.

Flight plans are included and links to suitable freeware scenery of CFB’s Trenton, Greenwood and Winnipeg, the home bases of the 29 aircraft, are identified. Updated files are provided to enable their use with the CC-130’s. My thanks to Darren (airplanedocktor) for his advice on these aircraft and for making some of the flight plans.

Just the Italian Air Force package to do now to take the project as far as I want to go. I’ll also be providing a comprehensive paint kit with guidance on where to find the various model types for repainting.

Has anyone painted one of these in just the “standard” USAF grey scheme?

Which model(s) are you referring to Reggie? Brent has painted a 4 bladed version (a few pages back), but he's the only one with a paint kit so far. The USAF C-130J-30's that I painted are in the standard USAF grey scheme.

We have already done some Js in the base US scheme at Keesler and Yokota, and I am currently working on a project with USAF C130Hs in it. There will probably be more coming after that assuming I don't get distracted by something shiny.

Great work on bringing this project this far John. I know that you were looking for a small project after the Tonadoes. I guess this one didn't turn out as small as first projected.

No indeed not Brent, but it's been enjoyable. I definitely have a very small project lined up next though.

Hi John,

I saw in an earlier post that you thought of painting the Combat Kings and a Compass Call model (Not a package) for Davis Monthan. Did you decide on not doing the Combat Kings and just finish with the Italians? Thank you

Until the LRAFB package can get redone with John’s models, I want to repaint a few to go in my sim at KLRF.
The Jennie’s from Kessler will do just fine for that.
Thanks!

Actually, I made and painted the 6 Combat Kings for the 79th RQS at Davis Monthan (Fs9 and FSX/P3D) a while back, but not the Compass Calls. At that time I didn't have an "H" model I could utilise for the latter and I put the package on the back burner and forgot about them. I now have a base "H" model I could modify and I could now deliver all the DM C-130's.

If someone could supply the serials for the Compass Calls I'll put the Combat Kings to good use and resurrect the package for both types.

Thanks for those. Between the 3 lists I now have, I can make and paint the Compass Calls to add to the DM Combat Kings.

For the CC-130HT 435SQ plans I am getting the following error using AIFP

FP txt Line No. 3
Leg 61: Arrival time greater than the repeat time

Invalid field(s) may have been replaced to avoid other difficulties. Please refer to the flight plan text file to determine the original contents

I tried spotting the error on my own, but I just don't see it.

What version of AIFP are you using? I ran the traffic file through V3.2.15/d and it validated without error. However if I use V2.2.07 I get a similar error.
