RAF Sentinel R1's and USAF E-11A's
Just leaving my production line are the 5 Waddington-based RAF Raytheon Sentinel R1’s, or to be more precise, 4 Sentinel R1’s, since one has been withdrawn from service and is now in storage:
The aircraft were produced for Paul, who is revamping my old FSX Waddington scenery for use in P3Dv4. Although I have produced FS9 versions of the aircraft too, I have decided not to produce flight plans to go with them. That’s because my original ones for Waddington are over 11 years old and are way out of date. Users by now would probably have replaced the E3 Sentry’s and added the more recent RC-135W’s Air Seekers. I’ll leave users to swap out these new Sentinel R1’s with the old UKMIL ones if they should wish to do so. These are the new aircraft in my current FSX version of Waddington, with a few additional general screen shots:
I also took the opportunity to make the 4 USAF E-11A’s of the 430th Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron that I believe are based at Kandahar, Afghanistan.
One of the aircraft sports the upper radome and lower pod, like the Sentinel R1, but has a different aerial arrangement, particularly under the wings.
The other 3 aircraft have the same aerial arrangement, but do not have the upper radome and lower pod, although they do have their own unique radome under the rear fuselage:
All 3 models are finished, as are the paints for the 9 aircraft. All I have to do now is write a short manual and package them up for upload.

That is a real surprise.

That is a real surprise. And thanks for FS9 version from a 100% FS9 user.

If many Airman learn John's great abilities and know-how, productivity will double & double.
Thank you very much.^ ^b

All packaged and uploaded. As always, please give Greg a chance to make the files available.

The real aircraft are the same length and wingspan of the 6000.

Are these kind of radar aircrafts also availoble for Gulfstreams as AI?
For example Gulfstream G550 with the flat fuselage or the Gulfstream III ?

Nice

Re: RAF Sentinel R1's and USAF E-11A's
Not from me I'm afraid. The third sentence of my first post explains why not for the RAF Sentinels. The main purpose of the project was to produce the Sentinels for Paul. The E-11A's were a bonus. I would imagine that anyone with an interest in and knowledge of flight operations Kandahar would already have complex flight plans given the variety of aircraft that operate from there. Better they inject the E-11A's into what they have rather than me.

Re: RAF Sentinel R1's and USAF E-11A's
For anyone interested in setting up BACN flights for the E-11As, they can be represented pretty straight forward. The E-11As are all at KAF and one is airborne 24 hours a day doing high altitude orbits. So, just set them up in 6 hour offsets and you are good to go. If you want to be more complex do three aircraft in eight hour rotations and rotate that among the four frames to represent one being down for the day.
Re: RAF Sentinel R1's and USAF E-11A's
I know there are flight plans for the RAF Sentinels on AVSim by Dan Foster. I don't know how out of date these plans are, as they are 10 years old.

Recently got a good glimpse of the BACN jets in action.
Bazinga!
