Special design applied to a Saab JAS39C "Gripen" of F17 Blekinge Flygflottilj of the Swedish Air Force (Svenska Flygvapnet) based at Ronneby AB with a special decoration for 75 years of F17 Blekinge Flygflottilj (1944/2019).
Much thanks

Just noticed that there is no silhouette of the Tunan...why might the SAF has skipped it?
Cheers,
Martin

My guess would be that F17 didn't fly the Tunnan.

In fact that is - according to Wikipedia - the truth case, Steve.
I was just being silly, because the Tunnan is one of the very few aircraft where I could not find the slightest attractive angle. Made me giggle.... [emoji5]

I had never heard of the Tunnan so looked it up. You are quite right Martin, not a pretty aircraft.

I actually got to crawl over a J-29 at the now defunct Southend Aircraft Museum. It was an ex-Austrian AF example, if I remember correctly - although I could be wrong. Weird looking thing.
*UPDATE*
Just looked it up. It was a Swedish J-29 and after the demise of the Southend Museum it went to the Midlands Air Museum, where it still resides. Apparently its the only J-29 in the UK.

In comparison I find the Lansen, Draken, Viggen and Gripen very beautiful aircraft. Especially the Draken and Viggen are on my most favorite list.
Cheers,
Martin
