Paul Revere

Post by ahs06 »

Does anyone know if there's a model for Paul Revere? N404PA is an MIT testbed based at KBED and I'd love to smoke out some virtual NIMBY's.

I think the Boeing testbed was an ok stand in. If I recall, it had the side mounted sensors but not a radar dish similar to the 707-320 they operate. I don't know of any sceneries of BED unfortunately.

A while back, I was working on repaints and flightplans for various testbeds, including Lincoln Labs. For that, I did a generic FSX scenery for KBED, KBWI, and KSTL. I used the NAAI 707 for the Paul Revere. In addition to the 707, G-II, Falcon 20, and DHC-6 of Lincoln Labs, it has the 757 F-22 testbed, Northrop Grumman's BAC 111 and CRJ-700 testbeds and Raytheon's DC-9 testbed. It wouldn't take too much work for me to package it up if there's interest.

I just uploaded the file, so it should be available soon. I don't support FS9, so if someone wants to modify KBED to work in FS9, I can send the ADE file.

Has anybody got a copy of the JBAI BAC 1-11-500 model that can send me a copy please? I have searched most places but it seems not to be available any more.

Regards Paul Day.

I didn't even realise that there was a JBAI BAC 111. I will have to look for that and schemes.

Dan, thanks for these as Steve said, I like having anything related to MAIW in the sim as well. Special test aircraft and government versions of civie models fit that bill. Just need to see if the models have been converted for FSX/P3D use.

Great package! Thank you.

One substitution would be for the newer correct AI Falcon 20 models. Here it is on Avsim.
https://library.avsim.net/search.php?Se ... &Go=Search

It already has N20NY in the package so easy to replace. Also painted and I think part of MIT (??) is the Falcon 20G ex Coast Guard N448TB. Maybe some better flightplans for them is all that is needed.

I think these models were converted over at AIG for use in the other platforms but don't quote me!
