Had me for a second as I looked over Maxwell AFB, AL with runway config. A base I'm happy to never be stationed at... Fort Drum.

Correct. Yeah, the 10th Mountain Div sure know how to pick their locations to hang their rifles, lol.
This is prob going to be a 4 afcad airport, with all the helicopter stuff going on there :smt013

Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield isn't that bad if you don't mind being a bit off the beaten track in upstate New York.

I'm biased, but the most important part of Fort Drum is the Adirondack Air to Ground Gunnery Range (currently labeled Adirondack Joint Range or Fort Drum Range-48).

Guess whose F-16's are shown showing off during a low level training mission there in this video:

I will guess either the 112th FS or the 134th FS?

Gonna send this to the download hanger tonite. Got a little carried away with the multiple Afcads but they all work :smt003

KGTB - Main Runway, Rapid Deployment Apron for 10th Mountain Division.
      1GTB - Blackhawk Pad 1
      2GTB - Blackhawh Pad 2
      3GTB - Apache Pad (I think)
      4GTB- Chinook Pad (I think)
5GTB - UAV landing strip for the Ft Drum RQ-7B's (None modeled afaik. I tried landing the bigger UAV's provided by MAIW but they are to big for the tiny 500ft strip. I have the NYANG Drones landing on the main runway. They have a small hanger area across from the Rapid deployment apron.)

Question for someone In the know: Is helicopter traffic at Simmons taking off and landing on the main runway, or their ramps?

I’d have to look at the set up but generally they will not taxi all the way to the runway unless the weather is really bad requireing an IFR departure. Normally taxi to helipad or sod.

Hi all. During quarantine, I whipped up a Mayport NAS afcad but there's one major problem, I was unable to do a landclass file because Sbuilder will not compile on my new computer for some reason. So, the shipyard and the St. Johns river are off a little (FS did a terrible job of recreating the Mayport basin). I kinda worked with what FS gave me so the accuracy isn't that great in those areas. The Misplaced shipyard also threw off some things on the edge of the airfield. You guys still want it?

An incomplete Mayport NAS (no landclass file). Once my sbuilder is up, I'll do a V2.

All objects are the usual MAIW OBJs except for the USN ships. One problem is that I don't know where I found the ships, maybe fs-shipyards. Their BGL's are named EZ Nimitz and Marks_USN_Frigates_14_7 if that rings a bell with anybody. I didn't include the BGLs because I wasn't sure if I was allowed, since I didn't create them or had permission to do so. If anyone from MAIW says it's ok, I'll add them in a future zip.
