Re: Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary
Thankyou, that's perfect, John.
I am in a sunny Kent today, in Canterbury, and a Spitfire has not long passed overhead. The sound of a Merlin was never more appropriate, and very moving.

Very nice John. I always seem to get dust in my eyes when I see one of the BBMF aircraft. There is something about the sound of a merlin that catches me every time.

It reminds me of one of those things that I always hoped to see but I knew I never would.
A complete series of AI Spits/Seafires. It is one of those things that would be nice but nobody would ever do. A lovely flying museum.

Re: Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary
Those 4 are from a set of 10 individually numbered Mk1a's of 19 Sqn that I made a while ago. I can only have a formation of 4 in the tool I used to take the screen shots unfortunately.

I did it Steve. Ten Spits fly over Duxford and many other. There should be some screenshots around the forum.
I love warbirds!

Re: Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary
What I meant was every mark of Spitfire/Seafire so 24 different models of Spit from the mk1 to the mk 24, rather than a flying museum of one sqn or a wing. That in its self would be very intersting in a retro way.
I do love the mk 24 which I think is a lovely looking machine.
