What countries have yet to be released? I can think of Iran, United Arab Emirates and Jordania. Is there any other Asian country flying the Hercs?

Hi there,

Still to be released in this series (Far East) are Taiwan, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Singapore. The countries you have mentioned will form part of the Middle East series.

If you want to know more about the Exotic Alberts, check out the site main page where you'll see an announcement under "Where next for Albert"

Cheers

Thanks for the explanation, I'm looking forward to those great packages anyway. They certainly make some real surprises when flying around Asia.

Glad you like them.

Eventually we'll be doing Mid East, Africa and Europe.

Barry and I are looking at it as being our retirement plan :lol:

Cheers

More Hercs - must be a good thing!!

One question - in the Thai package there are flightplans routed to VTBS, which doesn't exist in FS9 default. Will this cause problems, or does anyone know where I can download scenery for this new airport - have seen AFCADS for one but can't find where to get it from.

Hi Alex,

You can get the scenery from SiamAvsim;

http://www.siamavsim.com/main/index.php ... &Itemid=57

There is an updated afcad at Avsim itself.

Or, if you prefer, you can go with Jan Martin's Jetways Pack 11, available here;

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DL ... fs2004scen

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) was supposed to be the main airport for all civilian carriers. However after the change of governement, they found that most of the building work was sub-standard due to corruption by officials etc.

At the moment some Thai Airways and Nok Air Flights have gone back to VTBD whilst they sort out the problems.

This unnecessary added drivel is completely free of charge :lol:

Cheers

the last three components of the EAP1 Series have been released but for some reason, Avsim changed the names making them harder to locate :? I'm trying to get to the bottom of this issue and will post links once this is resolved

They're there alright. The file names are:-
maiw_eap_south_korea.zip
maiw_eap_sri_lanka.zip
maiw_eap_taiwan.zip

They all loaded fine but I found a small error in the South Korean package. The readme mentions an afcad for RMSF. I believe this should be RKSF and more to the point, it's not in the package (RKPK and RKSM are both there).
Where ever you go, there you are.
