Repaints for the seven AW139s operated by CHC Helicopters on behalf of the Australian Military are being sent to the download area tonight (in P3D/FSX and FS9 format). I have included very simple flightplans but not dedicated overlays, mainly because I couldn't see via google maps etc exactly where the SAR helicopters operate from for all of the bases. If anyone has any info or is happy to tackle the overlays by all means go ahead.

The helicopters operate from Nowra, Pearce, Amberley, Williamtown and East Sale.

Thanks gents

As a little side project alongside the next batch of conversions, I've been knocking together something to give the recently released Georgian Mi-8 repaint a home.

Here are some exceedingly basic RPP generated .txt format flightplan files for the Colombian and Sri Lankan Kfirs from the newly released conversion pack. These are merely designed to get them airborne and I have not attempted to make them particularly accurate.

Here is an alternative version of the colombian ones that has C10s instead of C7s. You could also replace some of the other C7s with COAs and TC2s with TC10s but I will leave that to your preference! It is a simple matter to tweak to your fancy.

Still quite a few things to finish before these are ready to release, but they are on their way:

The UAE C-17s are now available for download (thanks Greg!). Special thanks to Dan Reeves for the flightplans.

I have updated a number of my packages and they are now live in the download area. The changes are mainly to do with FS9 so if you have FSX/P3D and the textures are working fine (or indeed if you have FS9 and have already fixed/converted the files sucessfully!) then there is no need for you to download anything.

Texture folder names/aircraft titles etc are different in many cases because since I created those packages I have standardised my sim's filing system. This should not cause anyone a major inconvenience but apologies if it does. All the flightplans included in the packages have been updated to suit.

Updated packs:
UAEAF C-17s - fixed FS9 textures.
CHC SAR AW139s - fixed FS9 textures and replaced the erroneous flightplan files.
RAAF F-35s - adds FS9 format files.
RAAF C-17s - improves quality and adds 1024x1024 options for all sims.
Australian Army Chinooks - adds FS9 format files.

Readme updated in all packages.

There are more updates to come in due course.

I believe there has been a mixup in the RAAF F-35A's. The texture titles do not correspond with the aircraft CFG entries. This in FSX, I have'nt checked FS9. It,s not a biggie, just a heads up.

Regards Paul Day.

Ah, damn. Will check. Probably a case of me not copying the new stuff across properly.

It only took me two minutes to adjust it. The aircraft show up black so the aircraft CFG titles are OK, just adjust the texture titles.

Thomas
Could you have a look at the Chinook flightplans, there are only nine flightplans for the ten aircraft.
