Thanks Dan & Matt for the Czechoslovak packages. Much appreciated!

For the Mig-21s, I cannot find LKBC or LKZC scenery and don't see them in P3D stock, so I knocked up my own afcads.
LKBC is still there on Google Maps, but I had to rely on https://www.mil-airfields.de/cz-czech-r ... etiste.htm for LKZC, as the airfield has been obliterated.

According to that however, LKZC is at a different location to Matt's 11SLP flightplan:

Your location
LKZC,N50* 33.32157',E15* 05.64747',807

Zatec Air Base
LKZC,N50* 22.37484',E13* 34.54512',896 ...the website does confirm that 11SLP were at Zatec.

I've attached my afcads if I've got this correct. (Feel free to to use/correct/enhance them for non-commercial purposes.) MAIW obj libs used + zMuseum.bgl from some avsimrus.com regional sceneries for a couple of static Mi-8/2 (easily removed). Apologies for any schoolboy errors.

Thanks Jim,

Much appreciated. As for LKZC we couldn't find anything either even co-ordinates so we just took an educated guess really, the only thing we knew for sure was the ICAO

You're welcome Dan,

I'd never have found Zatec without that code, so many retro bases have/had none.

I can't do parking yet. I don't want to derail your thread, but if somebody could point me to a nice example... e.g. how the feck do you get a MiG to reverse into a HAS? :D

Don't want to take this thread off-track, but I've been experimenting with my parking (no-pushback nodes, etc.) and more importantly found I missed some taxi hold points on my LKZC/LKBC uploads there.

Turns out even runway exits need them to generate "clear of runway" calls to let others land and take off.

Sorry, Jim.

Next project from myself will be the Soviet based units in what was East Germany. This is a huge project but should be a good one I reckon, the Su-17's are already completed & will be uploaded shortly. I'm about half way through the MiG 29 units. There's some good scenery out there for a few of these bases but they do need converting to P3D which takes a little effort but it looks great.

Su-17's are uploaded to the hangar, please give the usual time for them to become available.

I must admit I am pleasantly surprised by how many different individual schemes & individual markings there are for the both the Su-17's & MiG 29's, there's a few with a leopard on the side, some have home base markings on them along with quite a few more little things as well

Cheers Dan!

I'm on the hunt airfields again.
Please can you tell me what airfields are represented by ETGW and ETSG in the Su-17 flightplans?

All the Soviet MiG 29's are uploaded to the hangar in 2 parts, the voicepacks for both are all in pt1. Please give the usual time for them to be made available

The next project is Sperenberg air base just outside of Berlin, this is home to a bunch of transport aircraft, An24, An26, An12, Tu134, Mi8's & a couple of Il20's. As for the Il-20's there is a package for them but no paintkit that I can find, so all I've done is add some faded Soviet stars & the registration numbers on the side

While I'm here, does anyone have any scenery for EDCX Pütnitz/Damgarten by any chance? Doesn't matter what sim version as I can convert them to P3D if necessary

Dan,
The only thing I have found is that Damgarten is included in the East German collection by M. Spengler. It is for FS9. However it was created in the days before AI was wide spread so there is no afcad for it.

The latest pack I found of his was called gdr_mil8.zip and he gives it the designation ET_D.

I found that one as well, neither use nor ornament really. I found a reference to Pütnitz here: https://forum.ddr-flugzeuge.de/index.php but didn't find anything

I've also just uploaded some USAF T-43's as they were in the early 90's. Flightplans for the vast majority are in the MAIW T-43 pack but there are a couple based in Europe at that time that will need doing.

It would appear I've done my usual trick of not including the aircraft cfg for the T-43's, many thanks to jetpilot1980 for bringing this to my attention.

Please find it attached below, apologies for the inconvenience

Here you can find a couple more GDR sceneries including Puetnitz.
Though a couple of more years old and there used to be some updated sceneries at some point in their forum.
But those links are long expired.

There seems to be a couple of corrupt files in the Mig-29 download.

texture.Soviet Falkenburg 20bl MKAI_Fulcrum_9.13_2.dds
and
texture.Soviet Finow 06wh MKAI_Fulcrum_9.13_1.dds
