What's making it a lot faster Manfred is only having to make the changes in the variants in 2 LODs, coupled with a well practiced process of cutting out or filling in windows and selective re-mapping.

These are the Portuguese 101's:

That's it for this package I think. I'm, going to produce the documentation next and assemble the zips for upload.

When you see so many grey aircraft it is amazing how colourful the tan and greens look appears.

Sent for inclusion in the Download Hangar. As always please allow time for the uploads to be processed and made available.

To summarise, These packages (FS9 and FSX/P3D) feature 5 AI variants of the EC-101 (Merlin) helicopter, covering Canada, Norway, Denmark, Italy and Portugal. 6 models are included x 2 for door open and closed options and a total of 68 paints. The packages contain aircraft only, but instructions are included on how to set up helicopter AFCAD files for use with the animated lift that is a feature of the models.

Image

I very much hope that people here will make use of the models and that we shall see some AFCADs and flight plans uploaded in due course.

Outstanding work again John, although not a US based helo still very happy to see them in the sim. Enjoyed flying the -101 initially in FSX. For the RNoAF SAR units, I'm assuming they are based at small rural helipads verse local airports similar to US EMS helos?

I believe the RNoAF SAR units will be based at Sola initially, from May they have been flying from Orland as well. At the end of the year they will be flying from Banak as well.

Just a heads up while looking over the Norwegian 101s, I found an older package our own "Joecoastie" made for FS9 and the CJ Elvis AI Sea Kings of 330 Squadron. FPs swapped out and Joe made adjustments to Airports of Norway FS9 scenery. I don't have the scenery in P3D and have to check them.

Thank you for this package! I just installed the Italian helos into P3D, but since I don't have AFCADs or scenery for them I haven't been able to see them in the sim.
