WSMG AI F-16 preview
Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
@Mike JG
I can only think that the non WA coded aircraft have been brought in as rotation. I can only compare to the RAF, sometimes you might see a Coningsby marked aircraft operating with a Lossiemouth squadron, aircraft move around based on their mod state and what a unit has coming up. Again as an example the RAF Typhoon fleet might move around if a squadron is due to go to Op shader over Syria, they will receive the must most up to date A/G capable aircraft as that is what that Op requires. if a squadron is destined to be based at home for a while some of the more capable airframes will be moved onto other units that have a higher priority and in turn will receive more basic aircraft. Not all aircraft will be traded out but some will. Of course airframe hours play a part too as they could be due to go in for servicing soon so a squadron may take the aircraft on for the 10 or 20 hours it has left.
I can only assume that USAF based assets are the same.

The plans I used can be found in the following zip: "lipa_js.zip" which is available on Avsim. Within the zip are traffic files which can easily be amended to reflect the new paints just released.

@DaleRFU
Thanks Dale, I agree there's probably some of that occurring for sure. I am starting to piece together images of all of the aircraft which certainly helps verify which ones are there on a regular basis.

Future release....P3D
Unusual in that it has a General Electric engine, but is a smallmouth.
All the IDFAF single seat block 30's are smallmouth!
Seem to only be 9 single seat block 30's left now that they retired The First Jet squadron.
8 with the Red Dragons adversarial squadron and 1 at the flight test centre.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Thats the one.
Interesting history...
Built as Block 25 with P&W engine and smallmouth.
Modified with GE engine and bigmouth for Block 30 trials
Then fitted with dummy CFTs for the failed Enhanced Strategic program.
Finally had the SDI fitted.

In-flight P3D...
Will also do another 2 different versions of 83-1120.
Also fixed something that had been bothering me for a while - The earlier missile rails (16S210), although I had the shape correct, I had missed off the distinctive 'arrow' at the front of the rail. Now added!

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
I hope you will share your sources of this acft to the FS9 modeller
Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
If mike wants them, of course I will, all he will have to do is add the pilot, covers and flags back to the FSDS model.
Here it was in 1989 testing GE engine.
Yes it did have double Ejection Warning triangles...

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Thanks Martin.
Hoping to get an updated AFTI pack out (maybe Sunday) with the following added -
ACAT/FRRP
SDI
GE test
ES
European 1
Renamed the base folder to "MAIW_WSMG_F-16_DEV_and_TRIALS"
Looks nicer in-game I think
