I'll be darned...as a 22+ year veteran that is the very first time I have seen a C-130 with floats. Thanks Joseph29!! Guess an Old Dog can learn new tricks...

It could be the wheels are only for beaching and not intended for operational use ?

I hope so Gary, in which case we only need a water - water model.

If that is the case then it would be a hell of a job getting these aircraft through maintenance.

There is a part of me that thinks that this aircraft should be called the MRCA - Must Refurbish Catalina Again.

Purely a homage to the 1970's where some people substituted Canberra to describe the Tornado project.

Just checking on C-130 repaints or WIP projects for Little Rock AFB as I look to have a few days off here. Combat Aircraft Journal magazine is writing a series of articles on each US state and they just finished Arkansas covering all aviation units. Over the years I have adjusted the FPs and paints for my own original MAIW package install, but looking to help on updating with JYAI models.
