2 Planes at the same time?

Post by zzip »

Hi all,

I don't really know where to post this topic.

I'm looking to have 2 aircraft (MIG-29) take off side by side on the same runway, then a formation flight and land side by side if possible.
Tom Gibson has already given me some tips in FS Developer..
Does anyone have experience with this?

This question comes up from time to time - about every sim.
The short answer is that you can't. There is no mechanism in game that allows for pairs take offs or pairs landings. Nor is there a mechanism to allow for formation flying.

There are various things that you can try to get around the issue but it boils down to creating a lot of extra work and complication for yourself and it will not work exactly as you want it.

Now in case you think that this maybe an exaggeration, this is something that very clever people have attempting since FS9 first came out.
