Looks excellent and brings back many happy burger memories...The vehicles when in p3d from original scenery were the best...somewhere hopefully theyve included a rather cool looking camo humvee

….thanks for showing interest chaps.

Please remember that it is the Ai Aircraft that are being demonstrated here in the screenshots and not really the Scenery.

Unfortunately we have a nearly as big an issue regarding highly detailed Military Scenery for MSFS as we do with the MSFS Ai System itself.

In short we have next to nothing really available at this time.
If we were using Ian’s Scenery converted from a previous generation Sim, we really needed to have had a working dialog with him.
As I understand it, he has moved over to payware and this is clearly no longer going to be an option available to us.

It might be that the payware Military Scenery that Ian has in development for use with MSFS, has the option to use both Static and and Ai Aircraft. The problem here is that until you see the Scenery populated with Ai models, you can’t really anticipate all of the issues that might only become apparent when they are present.

Best Regards,

Pete.

Pete,
Thanks for the explanation re scenery...hope Ian will look at his old friends in MilAI and throw them a gift or 2.
Johns A-10s always look great, i tested the Selfridge pack loved what i saw but with the Asobo AI behavioral issues, can fully understand the frustrations especially as msfs has such an awesome scenery graphic. The lizard scheme just simply suits the hogs, really nice subtle sheen....just landing and taking off like pancakes is a bit of a shame.

Have you experimented with AIFlow and AIGround.....these two freeware addons really help smooth out a few asobo issues.

Please dont give up, I'm sure there's many of us hoping that something magical can happen.

All the best

I have tried AIGround Trev, but it caused more problems than it solved.

John
Kinda finding the same as well...to a point.
Ive been able to increase landing rollouts and takoff rolls...but the flare on approach alludes me whatever settings i tweak.

ive been playing with it while watching arrivals and departures at Dublin and must admit very frustrating...really wish Asobo would put some effort in the AI engine.

They look like Woodbridge and Alconbury A-10A's Pete. What is the set up?

Hi John,

.........came across these " bad boys " whilst testing continues with the AIG Traffic Controller injection tool at Lakenheath.

I take it that they were just visiting and indeed they will be A-10A's from either the Alconbury or Woodbridge/Bentwaters Traffic Packages.

To be honest, I never get tired of watching them as they look so Bl**dy good John.

Very Best Regards,

Pete.

PS. I am testing upgraded sound for both the F-15s and the A-10's and although this is still using legacy sound rather than the new
MSFS Wwise format, for AI use the results seem to be the best by a long way. I will keep you posted on this.

Pete,

Are you not able to shoot with the drone camera so you can follow the A-10's and lose the piper Cub?

Looks good and the heat blur adds to it. One of things frustrating with MSFS for me is the lack of view control.

I know I really want somebody to come up with a TVB equivalent for MSFS.

one thing that was clear as day was....no hopping skipping or jumping....nearly every other AI that apparently works for msfs skips at least twice in the distance covered in that viewpoint.
The matt finish IS the best compared to some poor repaints people are releasing for other files on that .to website.

This is looking so promising.
Is there a way to change sounds at all?

keep up the excellent work.
