Woodbridge/Bentwaters active again......

Post by delbydoo »

Just downloaded Ian Elliotts scenery for the twins at Woodbridge and Bentwaters, added a few FP's (Mondays only!) and whadyaknow - the 92nd and 510th are flying along with the short-lived 527th AS; ah, the good ole' days.....even the RAF paid a visit........

Yep, living only about 8 miles from Woodbridge I really miss the "twin bases". Can remember aircraft interrupting lessons at school 'cos we couldn't hear what the teacher was saying!! Late 1960s, would have been F4s then I think?
Where did I put my beer??!

That I would have given a left arm for - love tombs!! Only went to Bentwaters once, during 1988 on one of those "guided tours around an aircraft" that the USAF organised (doubt whether they do it now); got to look around our "own" A-10 from the 92nd TFS plus a look at the gatling gun bay where the talk on that alone lasted half an hour!
