Yeah that makes no sense. I literally took the same raw files and just added those daily flights in...compiled...and voila...no extra afcads?

You would have to hope someone with FSX has done the same thing and can help you. We do not test or support our products in FSX.

Emile,

The same checks apply to FSX as FS9, have you made sure that the AFCAD file is installed in Addon Scenery\Scenery folder? Is there any other copy of the PAED AFCAD installed? Do the aircraft show up at other airfields or flying around or are the aircraft missing altogether?

Regards,

Cary

Hello Cary,
I have controlled and all installed files are the files from the package, including the AFCAD.
Please take a look at these screenshots : no aircraft on the ground BTW I have no problem with the other sceneries.

The scenery looks like it installed just fine, although I have never seen the pavement textures that you are using. Everyone uses different textures so that is no problem.

So here are a couple things for you to check:

-check that your AI traffic slider is not set at 0%
-check that you do not have more than one PAED afcad file
-check that you have the MAIW_Traffic_Elmendorf.bgl file in your FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder
-check that you have all the aircraft folders installed into your FS9/Aircraft folder. You should have new folders for F15C, F15D, F22, C17 and C12.

Hello Mike,
First of all I "run" FSX.
-check that your AI traffic slider is not set at 0% ---> 25%
-check that you do not have more than one PAED afcad file ---> only 1
-check that you have the MAIW_Traffic_Elmendorf.bgl file in your FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder ----> FSX scenery/World/Scenery
-check that you have all the aircraft folders installed into your FS9/Aircraft folder. You should have new folders for F15C, F15D, F22, C17 and C12.--> Check and present

FYI I "Fly" all other MAIW packages without any problem on FSX.

FSX is peculiar sometimes. I wish we had a better handle on how some things worked with that software. One day I may buy FSX when it is in the bargain bin :)

Emile,

I'm afraid I can't add any more than has already been suggested. Having done a manual install, with no changes other than placing the files into their FSX equivalents, my package worked right out of the box. Well, tell a lie, I forgot to move the traffic file into it's FSX folder. But after I found that mistake it went perfectly.

Sorry I can't be any more helpful :(

Did you try uninstalling/deleting each of the aircraft folders? SO..start with just the F-22s, etc. After that, delete the afcad and download another one from Avsim and see if they show up.

If you pm me your email address I can send you the raw .txt files for the flights...maybe compiling them yourself would work?
