Big thing is to check for duplicate afcads at the location you are not seeing the Kuwaiti Hawks.

If you don't already use this tool, ScanAFD, get it here. It will quickly detect any duplicate afcads you may have, just make sure to tick the button to scan ALL addon scenery folders.

Hi MAIW, thanks for another set of great packages!

In the Indian Hawks package, the Factory/Hindustan Hawks seem to be duplicates? In the '...132 India' folder the A3504 & A3505 paints also are included as A3504 & A3505 in the '...132 India_Factory' folder. I assume we get rid of the Factory folder?

Also, just to clarify, there are two OOM1 afcads included. One is the AFX version and one is the normal version. So in FS9, both are supposed to be there, and we never, ever...ever touch the AFX one right?

Thanks again,
Subs

Subs,

Thanks for spotting the Indian error....Fortunately it isnt a show stopper. What happened there was we realised that there was no need for 2 seperate folder and thus combined the 2 but then forgot to delete the other 1. So you can go ahead and delete the Indian Factory folder if you wish.

Also the Extra Waypoint AFCAD will also not cause any errors.

Thanks again.

Hi guys, thanks for the new packages - the skies get busier and busier!! Just one little hiccup, I have autogen buildings all over the northern part of OMAL - anyone else finding this or have I done something wrong?

I have 5 MAIW OMAL exclude files in my Addon Scenery/Scenery folder - should these perhaps be somewhere else?

Hi Alex,

The 5 files you speak of are in the correct place on your system. OMAL on my set up is fine no mis placed buildings to be seen on the airfield. Can you may be post a screen shot?

I have to say that I just went there and looked and there are buildings all over the shop, as the airfield is in the middle of a town.

So Alex, you are not going mad mate  .

Look out, it's me again!!

Just installed the Oman Hawks/F16/Jaguars package, I now find myself with 2 different MAIW afcads for OOMA - one from the Hawks package and one from the Kaneohe Bay P3 package. Which is the one I should be using please?

Which one has the later date, Alex? Go for that one. They should be the same, at least size wise.

Indian Hawks

Post by plumber »

Hi, Re the Indian Hawks, the Bidar Airbase does not have any normal air traffic instructions?
Also as in the Italian Harriers, every time I go to programme a flight in India since the download, the (from To) screen (fs9) keeps going to the waypoints!!!
Is there any way round this please?

Brian on the waypoints issue the solution is the same as the Italian problem.
Using the afcad program load the IBH1 airport. Select the airport properties, double click on the display and it will pop up, and remove 'Waypoints' from the State/Province field and then save the afcad over the top of MAIW_IBH1_Waypoint.bgl.

Do the same for IBH2 and IBH3, and your problem will be gone.

Hope this helps.
