Brian,
You may not know about how to use afcad, but download it (afcad221.zip on avsim), run it and have a look. Its not about altering the airfield dynamics, just the properties fields.
Try it, if you still have problems after attempting this, then I am sure that somebody will help you out.
Steve

Indian Hawks

Post by plumber »

Thanks Steve, Have managed to delete the waypoints and solved a problem on another airfield. Does require a lot of reading though, 60 pages of it.

On another subject I would like to download the Oman package but I only require the Jaguars is this possible? This is due to previously purchased AI.

No sorry you cant download them seperately but you can install them manually and then seperate out just the Jaguar bits, again this requires a little bit of knowledge on how to do such things though.
Besides which I guarantee our package is going to be better than any payware LOL

Oman Package

Many thanks for response, have downloaded and installed whole package, just to let you know that it has all merged in very well with existing AI. Only problem was that I had duplicated callsigns.
Checked out all ok.

Just out of curiosity what is the payware you are talking about? I am not aware of any Hawk or F16 AI payware.

I have both the Military AI Packages from Just Flight, this gives me world wide Military AI, your packs seem to fit in quite well. These were purchased some time ago.

I agree...

...although there HH60 and F117 models are great, but the KRAI F117 is better.

Indian Hawks Package

Post by plumber »

I have a problem in that I started up parked at Ramp Slot 19 amongst the Hawks at Bidar, the only way that I could move my a/c was by going into full reheat and even then it was very slow. On my return to this slot I had to select full reheat again. Can this be sorted please.

Was the parking brake on?? Seriously, this sounds like a user aircraft issue, not anything to do with the AI package.

Did you try a different aircraft and see if it did the same thing?

LOL, I'm trying dear...................

If he's using certain AlphaSim products, their models are known for not taxiing properly. Their B-1B model does take reheat to taxi sometimes.

And there is me thinking that you leave the brakes on during taxi!!!

Have just checked using a Mirage, taxied out of Slot 7 OK, taxied to Slot 19 (which just happened to be empty) and guess what the a/c ground to a halt. The Hawks were moving out OK around me.
Not had this problem before!!!

I was just thinking...Nick, those yellow wheel chocks...is there any chance they aren't being taken off when the Hawks taxi? Could this be a model problem?

It would be hard to move with those things underfoot right?

Well this is something Ive never ever heard of before....Aircraft should not be getting stuck in anything. I'd be interested to see this investigated.

I can tell you that indeed they are getting stuck. But only in certain areas of the apron. Doesn't matter what type of aircraft you are using, it's like there is glue or something on the apron, very strange. I've never seen anything like this before.
