Glad you got it worked out. I guess we'll never know exactly what was wrong.

After going through most of the MAIW files today to reload my ai after a reinstall, I discovered that this package is not listed either on the AI Aircraft tab or the map tab.

Update. A new scenery library is available in the first post of this thread that will fix the elevation issues for the FCLP markings used on the runways.

At the risk of being laughed at . . . All the scenery for Kingsville is missing with
the exception of the rotating beacon on top of the control tower - or what used to be the control tower. All other MAIW installed fields in the southeast US are functioning with all details.

Runways and surface textures remain. All flightplans remain untouched. The
only other Kingsville in my FS9 is the stock airport.

I uninstalled Kingsville Export Hawks and reinstalled with same results.

I've changed nothing that I can remember that would alter the scenery at Kingsville.
Last MAIW install was KMMT and that is working fine. A search of the forums shows
no other comments on this issue.

Suggestions?

Sorry, I have only just noticed this.
The beacon would indicate that the effects are there. The simple and most obvious reason is that there is something wrong with the entry in the scenery.cfg. I will assume that you have added the scenery and it is active..

A tool like Andrew Thornton's Scenery Config Editor will automatically highlight any problems.

If SCE does not highlight anything then it sounds like you may have an exclude file for that area, although I can't for the life of me think why there would be such a think with no extra scenery installed.

Thanks. Yes, the reinstall is active - flightplans, runways and parking intact.

config file notation below:

[Area.231]
Title=MAIW NAS Kingsville
Local=Addon Scenery\MAIW NAS Kingsville\scenery
Remote=
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=177

and this is odd - just searching the Scenery file in Notepad and found a second Kingsville:

[Area.075]
Title=MAIW NAS Kingsville
Local=Addon Scenery\MAIW NAS Kingsville
Remote=
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=79

I don't know what to make of that . . .

I'll check around to see if I already have the scenery editor downloaded and see what it says.
Really odd that just the beacon shows up. Would movement of the MAIW Land Class or Scenery Objects
up or down withing the FS9 scenery library effect anything?

Further insight is appreciated.

Well, I took a flier and eliminated the Area 231 Kingsville and all is restored to normal.

Haven't a clue how two Kingsville "areas" ended up in the scenery config file. Thanks
for the response and guidance. If you get near Debden, Essex check out what is left of the
peri track and revetments on the east side. My Father was there from 42 to 45.

Cheers -
