Here goes my top 10 list but not in any order;

1. Twelve O'Clock High
2. The Battle of Britain
3. Dambusters
4. 633 Squadron (love the Mosquito)
5. Flight of the Intruder
6. Tora, Tora, Tora
7. Midway
8.The Great Santini - Has some real good lines
Bull Meechum: There's those that has got 'em, Ben, and those that don't!
Ben Meechum: What?
Bull Meechum: Gonads, Son! Big brass ones!
9. The Blue Max
10. Memphis Belle

There are lot more I think everyone has hit on this list that are favorites. I pretty much like all aviation/war movies!!!!

Whoa!! I forgot about "The Great Santini".

"Stand by for a fighter pilot!"

"I am Santini, the great Santini. I come from the moon at night, from behind the clouds, WATCH OUT! WATCH OUT!"

Not only some great lines, but delivered by a great actor: Duval! He was perfect as Bull Meechum.

Ah but the first Hots Shots was soooo much better:

Jim "Wash Out" Pfaffenbach: You've got four bogies heading toward you!
[sneezes on the radar screen]
Jim "Wash Out" Pfaffenbach: Oh my God, a dozen more of them! And a blimp, a big, shiny blimp and it's slowly moving south!

Well, after checking it out last night, I'd have to say "Amelia" is another great aviation movie, we all know what happens in the end but it was really well done, alot better than other movies about her in the past, had alot of info on things she had done that I never knew about.

The Right Stuff is one of my favorites. Some, such as the Iron Eagle series, are to military aviation what "Unstoppable" is to railroading.

Hello

I'm seeking for a movie but I don't remeber the title. It's a movie with 2 F-117 carried in a C-5. This C-6 was attacked by terrorists entering to ib by a KC-10 if I remeber.

Can anyone tell me the title ?

Thanks a lot.

Can't remember the title, but if I'm not wrong Steven Seagal dies at the beginning of the movie, may be you can search on IMDB for all movies with Steven... :smt071

I remember watching a movie, as a kid in the late 50's, about a Mosquito pilot and his passenger (who was a complete a$$) trying to survive in the jungle after a crash. Time line of the movie was WWII in south east Asia. I watched it every time it came on the TV. Was one of the movies that got me very interested in aviation. And now I can't remember the name or who was in it. Might have been a British movie.

It rings a bell. I seem to remember people crawling into the airliner from the refuelling boom (yeah right)

Was it Executive Decision with Kurt Russell, Steven Seagal and David Suchet?

It was an assault team delivered by an F-117 with a special mating collar...I think they hooked the collar up to an avionics bay door or baggage door.
