Manfred,
I think a lot of members have missed your update.
Absolutely brilliant. I am looking forward to this addition to Gutersloh.

Thank you, Chris. Yes, because it is a hobby, you unfortunately can work on it just if it is time enough.
At present, I have some few hours off so I can show progress especially from the second Hides area, EHNR. It is a real enjoyment to make turns from RAF Gutersloh to Senne, then to EHNR.
Here some few more shots now:
Eastern approach to the field area EHNR....
Western approach....
I spent some time to exchange the odd default shadow blocks of the gmax model box of the Harriers camonets... I used ground planes to imitate real camonet shadows on the ground now. That makes John Young's Harriers even more real like ever before...

Thank you, halcon501. You can visit with the spain version of the Harrier GR1, the "Matador"
. They appeared several times at RAF Gutersloh in the 1980s...

Those last shots of the low clouds/mist rolling in really add to Cold War theme. Great looking hide sites and treeline.

Curious, are these out yet for download? Did I miss the release? I know in February I asked, but since then I have not seen these yet. Are they available yet? They look great.

Hi Dan,
no, latest shots on this side are from the second Hides area. If release is close, you all will get informed in time...

My sim doesn't look as good as those incredible pics. Virtually real so to speak.

Chris, each PC with I-5 processor or comparible will handle this scenery quite well. With AI at 50 - 60% and all three airfields in sight (RAF Gutersloh, Harrier Hides Senne-Range, Harrier Hides EHNR) at same time, you will get a FPS by aprox 45 - 60 frames. And that's state of affairs, with no final LODs added and some more models to attach into smaller scenes as well...

While the BETA team is testing, I implemented my final little scene of the Hides - the Harrier Engine Replacement! Like often done in the fields the replacement will appear several times as well in the scenery...
