I can tell you it doesn't remove the old Aircraft or scenery or flightplans

You have to remove them yourself

But using the old flightplans and aircraft means the afcad will all be coded wrong

forgive the ignorance but what does the afcad will be coded wrong mean exactly

Rich

Parking codes are entered in the aircraft config for the variations in paint scheme.

To get the aircraft to park at a desired spot these codes are entered into the afcad parking spots.

If you use aircraft or afcads that do not reflect this information the ai aircraft will not park on these spots until the neutral spots are full.

They will still work but the desired effect will not be achieved.

John

Are you using these aircraft as AI or flyable aircraft?
It may sound like a daft question but we had somebody before ask exactly the same question and found that they were trying to fly them.

I appreciate that.
What I wanted to know is whether the problem you were getting was because you were trying to fly them or just use them as AI aircraft.

Are you saying that the first case I mentioned was yourself, and that you are trying to fly them?

no I had 1squ and 6squ traffic at leuchars I am just worninding how you can have them staying at Lossiemouth instade of having them at leuchars

Ahhh OK.
Well simply put when those were made available 1 and 6 Sqn were at Leuchars, then 2 Sqn joined them there later.

Then the RAF in its infinite wisdom decided to close all bar one base in Scotland, Lossiemouth. So all three Sqns moved to Lossie.

There are two things that can happen to fix the basing issue.
One, you can hope that some nice person has already done the hard work for you and has paints and plans for 1, 2 an 6 Sqns at Lossiemouth and will make them generally available.

The second option is that you will have to load up the flightplans for each sqn into something like AIFP and alter all the plans yourself. Altering all occurrences of EGQL to EGQS. The complication is that there may already be instances of EGQS in the plans as aircraft were flying from Leuchars to Lossiemouth.
So the best thing to do would be alter in three stages.
1. First alter all the EGQS to something like KEDW. It doesn't have to be that one but use something not in the plans already.
2. Second, alter every occurence of EGQL to EGQS.
3. Third, alter every occurrence of KEDW(or whatever you used) to EGQL.

Once you compile that you have moved the aircraft based at Leuchars with occasional flights to Lossiemouth to become aircraft based at Lossiemouth with occasional flights to Leuchars.
After that you may need to sort out the flight times due to the change of bases but you are mostly there and AIFP has the ability to sort times out for you.

Is this what you wanted?

I don't know if there are any 2 Sqn schemes and plans available but if there are I am sure somebody will say.

that is the traffic file anyone got the aircraft and the aircraft traffic file and airport file flight plane file

If you want the raw files you can use AIFP.
You load the traffic file and then you can choose the Save File Set As .. option. You choose which folder you want to save them to and then save. The three txt files will then be in your system.

It is a thoroughly useful tool I would recommend it.

I am sorry but I don't understand the question.
Are you asking about the models to use with the schemes?
