Back again.

Finally got gear to animate properly on default animations. Main gear doors off for now.

First attempt at cutting model for transparencies. Will have to practice some more.

Flight model almost working. At least it survives the landings now. Great demonstration of gear compression.

Small changes to afcad. Added Ils to runway 23. Got a layout of the field so can now correctly name taxiways.

Added rough buildings for military fire station.

Send me a pm if your would like updated parts.

Small updates.

The fuselage is nearly done.

I will have to redo the gear and wings.

Pillan. Not yet finished but useable.

Paints not accurate either.

Feedback please.

I have run into some issues with the Pillan model.

I am contemplating redoing the fuselage, should I not be able to fix some size issues which I noticed when I put the pilots in. They are more or less the correct size.
The dark patches are also annoying.

Steve "Firebird" has given me great pointers on the FDE.

John Young has helped me a great deal to understand the XML code.

Here are pic's of Chilean and Dominican textures.

The zip of the aircraft, as it is now, will be in the following post.

As far as work on the Aviojet is concerned, I am starting on it again.
I have learned a lot from doing the Pillan and in retrospect I am glad I left it until I had more experience.

Lastly I do not have a great work ethic, so dedication to the task waivers a bit from time to time.

Regards

John

Pillan modified.

Changed the shape of the canopy. Added more polygons to lessen the dark patches.

Modified .cfg and .air.

Textures re-mapped, hopefully better.

Simply over-write the old folder. Flightplans will still work.
