Thank you for the package!
Quick question, for the King Air 200's shouldn't the atc_model= line be atc_model=C12? The line currently is atc_model=BE20.

Re: Ten for Ten Part 6: Hellenic Army Helicopters
Yes, you can use C12. Some like to keep the original BE20 from HT's model, some prefer the mil version. It is entirely up to you.

Just for thought, while flying the C-12/MC-12, we file and use BE20/B350 in the US airspace system.

Re: Ten for Ten Part 6: Hellenic Army Helicopters
All checks good for FSX except the radar stations at LGMG. The AFD is at the correct elevation, but these objects are creating 3 distinct hills in the otherwise level scenery. Maybe a flatten will correct this?

Re: Ten for Ten Part 6: Hellenic Army Helicopters
I am guessing here but that looks like you have a flatten somewhere that is taking away the scenery.
You get this if the scenery is flat and an object is at a certain height. FS tries to rectify something that is obviously wrong by shifting the ground upwards to meet the object.
Check to make sure you have no other LGMG related files anywhere in your scenery hierarchy.

Re: Ten for Ten Part 6: Hellenic Army Helicopters
To remove the spikes:
Remove: 1GMG_ADE9_GSB.bgl
The church is placed by 1GMG_ADE9_GSB_OBJ.bgl.
Hope this helps.
John
PS. HSP Greece scenery and terrain mesh with place the hills.

This is designed for standard FS9 the 1GMG creates the hill that is there in real life with the church on topJohnTenn wrote:To remove the spikes:

Re: Ten for Ten Part 6: Hellenic Army Helicopters
Hi,
I disabled the HSP scenery in the vicinity of Megara and tried again.
I took out all my AI traffic because I cannot access this part of Greece without FS2004 crashing out ( I obviously insulted a Greek person sometime in my life and they happened to work in Microsoft when the sim was being developed! ).
Anyway, back in Megara the spikes still stood proud and pyramid-like with the church on top of one of them.
When I removed the two bgl files mentioned both the spikes and the church obediently went missing - the place looks bare without them
Thanks
Walter

The hills displayed like spikes in my setup, a sharp point with the church on top. Something to do with the mesh vertex point setting.
This said, it stands to reason that it will display differently in each individual's system.
For me it detracted from an otherwise superb package. I am pleased that for me the change was easily made.
I did try to use the terrain flatten option in ADE to create the hills, but the result was the same.
Thank you for this package.
