Re: UH-72A Lakota
The FS9 models are all done and split into their various configuartions with a full set of LODs each. I just wanted to finish the range of models with two examples of UK emergency services EC145s. I know Mark wanted them as a subject for repainting:
I've only painted one of each just to test the mapping.
Next job is to number up all the Army Lakotas for Brent so that he can complete his scenery packages. Then I'll do the FSX coding.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
Agree with all and the pilots really add to the model. Buds I know that have flown it like it for a hard stand to hard stand helo, but we in the Army tend to want put them in environments that were not designed for. Looking forward to seeing these at NTC (Ft Irwin) and Polk.
On the other model suggestions, the Cobras are always at the top of my list, but the B206/407 would get plenty of usage in the AI world. Adding the 412/UH-1Y would complement the MV-22s.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
There is a unique EC-145 Rescue Helico in Belgium.
Here are two pics of him. The Heli have a light at the front right. and a window on the rear right door.
I hope there is the same model in the Civil serie. And a good repainter for it

Re: UH-72A Lakota
Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm going to draw the line at the 7 models/50 paints that I have just completed for both FS9 and FSX. Re-painters and users here will be free to create other examples from these models and the paint kit in the future of course.
I'm pleased to report that hover-taxi works in FSX just as it does in FS9:
The only difference is that in FS9, it is possible to have models with doors open because they close 15 minutes before departure, triggered by the Nav lights that come on at that time. In FSX the lights come on at departure, which means that the doors are closing while the hover-taxi lift is in progress. That would be unrealistic, so unfortunately for the FSX models, I have had to dispense with opening doors.
Next job for me is documentation.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
This could be a starter for other skidded helos like, let's say UH1-Y! Just a thought.
Re: UH-72A Lakota

Re: UH-72A Lakota
Just to say, that domestic life is competing more than FS time at the moment. The Lakota manual is done, but I just have a few more trees to replace in the FSX version of Brent's scenery that is part of the offering. I'll then start the packaging and do the uploads.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
Keep the trees coming Brent. It's just that a wedding, an energetic young pup coupled with good weather and other necessary domestic tasks have curtailed my FS time over the past few weeks. Just the time of year really, with some added distractions.

Well, truth be told... it's only because the climate calls for fewer trees.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
I'm pleased to say that the Lakota's and associated scenery are all done and have been sent this morning for inclusion in the download library. Special thanks to Steve (Firebird) for his final tweaks to the FDE.
The package includes several model variations and 51 paints covering UH-72A (US Army), H-72 (US Navy) and H145m helicopters (Luftwaffe) examples. A UK Police and Air Ambulance is also included.
Brent's scenery comprises Fort Polk, Louisianna and Laupheim Germany. The latter also includes parking for or use with the new CH-54 model (Luftwaffe paint) nearing completion by Menno. Hartwig has also kindly provided files that update his Patuxent River scenery to accommodate the 5 US Navy H-72's there.
The files are called:
JYAI_UH-72A_Lakotas_FS9_1.zip and JYAI_UH-72A_Lakotas_FSX_1.zip.
The paint kit is Paint_kit_JYAI_UH-72A_H145M_EC145.zip.

Re: UH-72A Lakota
Great News. Thanks for these Heli.
I hope you can make some adaptation to the model to sort the French Securité Civile, and the French Gendarmerie. There are a lot of exemple in service with these two services.
French Securité Civile are a little différent. Nose of Heli are différent.
