Grossetto Scenery Problem

Post by TheFoufure »

Hello,

I've installed the Grossetto Scenery from JS.

I follow the readme and installed the scenery correctly.

But nothing is visible. Only the tarmac. No building, no objects...

The scenery is correctly declared in the Scenery.cfg.

I've OSM World installed.

All my other scenery work perfectly. Only the Grossetto has a problem.

Somebody already have this problem ?

Thanks for help.

I suppose the first question is, do you have any other afcad for LIRS on your system?

No I don't have. It's he second think I check. The first is the entry in the Scenery.cfg. The third, is to look after any Exclude in other scenery.

Those are the most obvious causes, and it is good that you have eliminated them.
The next one I would look at is whether the objects are being called before they are loaded but most sceneries from JS don't call external libs and this is no exception.

The only thing I can think of is that there is either a corruption somewhere or there is a layer issue of some kind.

I would delete the folder and the scenery entry and install it again. It is amazing how often that fixes whatever was the problem the first time.

One last check to make. In the Grosseto folder check the date and time stamp of the scenery.dat file.
If there isn't one then the scenery is not active and if it is wildly out of date then that would point to a corruption.

I just checked mine to ensure I haven't got the same issue and it is fine.
