I had painted the whole fleet of Polish F-16s for Mike JG including all the Tigermeet and other special paint schemes.
However the corresponding FS9 models have never been finished.
And it looks unlikely that they ever will be finished since the developer moved on to MSFS

And would it be possible to share the paintings you have done?
I am using P3d v45 and could convert them to dds. Polish air force uses block 52 version as does Egypt. The Egyptian pack is in the download section and that model would match your textures.

Hello,

Is it possible to put your texture on the Chilean or Egyptian FS9 models who are not corresponding but very similar ?

If yes, is it possible to receive your repaints ? Thanks a lot.

Couldn't use the 32 bit textures, too many changes since the FS9 version.

dxt and 32bit textures are uploaded to my ftp folder for all F-16I
Was this package ever uploaded to the library, not just to ftp?

No, I never uploaded it as the model was not finished. It only had 1 LOD and no variations. As far as I know the model was never finished, so I kept the textures. I still have them if you would like to have them.

Best thing to do is ask the creators if they are willing to give you a copy of the PK. I don't think one has beeen released generally as yet !

mins wrote: 11 Jan 2021, 15:28 Hello Mike.

I finished all the work. (Paint, FP, Scenery).

Please check the message.

Thank you.

Hello,

I've problem with the sceneryr of this pack (with FS9).
I've installed the aircrafts as mentionned. The traffic file is a the right place.
Scenery file are installed as usual in a specific directory. This directory is registered in the scenery.cfg.
But I ve the basic original scenery with no parking place, no buidlings (except default). There are only two file in the pack (an AF2 and a library)

Is there any other file to download ?

I know Mark Heimer done a RKJK scenery but I don't find it.

Thanks a lot.

Regards

EDIT. Solved. Missing just a ] in the scenery.cfg.

Maybe it is still on Kevin's and Mark's todo list?

Definitely on my list, the Sufa is just a huge project to attempt on my own. Plus it will only be for P3D.

Well Firebird has found a way to recompile P3D models to FS9 ones.
Albeit they will only have 4 LOD's, but I am hoping that nowadays with todays computers that will be less of an issue than 10+ years ago!

Should work like this -
I make the P3D version
Firebird converts it to FS9
Re-painters make the textures for their FS9 setup, but also save a DDS5 texture version for P3D that I can use.
Packages released for both FS9 and P3d, win-win situation.

One of the current projects is Polish F-16's, with newer AIM-120C. Example of 1 loadout in the pic.

We aim to make it as comparable as possible to each sim.

The one model difference will be that FS9 refuses to accept Attached Lights, with the exception of Taxi and Landing lights.
However, it does mean that I can now attach the landing lights to the undercarriage doors which gets around an age old problem of landing lights still in a fixed place beneath the aircraft in FS9.

However, it will mean more aircraft folders as there are various difference light settings on the same block of aircraft due to tail extensions and the varying degrees of chin light housings.

What I am edging towards for the FS9 releases is a conversion kit. This will consist of each converted mdl, lightmaps, plus the light settings. The textures, aircraft.cfg, .air file and flightplans you can get from the original package release.

I am thinking about providing plans split by unit where necessary but that depends upon user demand.

Really looking forward to the Polish F-16's! Any chance to see some USAF F-16's soon? I remember back when I had FS9 I had WSMG F-16's from Osan, Misawa, Minnesota ANG, and South Carolina ANG. I would love to have them in P3D.
