Main differences are spin chute fitted, multi sensor nose probe, canards, and various lumps and bumps.
1 model with the changes controlled by XML based on the date in the aircraft title.

1st pic a is closer look at the 2000 version, with the others in the background.

2nd pic front to rear (rough years) -
1989
1983
1992
1995
2000
Very interesting these 5 config included in the model. Is tit compatible with FS9 with this trick ?

I make an error in a precedent post mentionned the CCV / AFTI. AFTI is the 6th FSD aircraft and CCV is the 1st YF-16 (Shorter)

VISTA/MATV/NF-16D is a F-16D with big dorsal spin (like israeli) but with a temporaly Drag chute system.

I m very impateint to have all these great models in my FS9 skies.

Congratulations and many Thanks to the 2 modellers.

Regards.

Off topic for a second but I got an email from Mike Pearson of all people, he's still around and still doing AI stuff, mostly civilian stuff over the last few years but he's looking to paint some IDF birds for FSX/P3D if anyone is interested in collaborating with him.

Training 2 - AIM-120, ACMI pod, centerline tank, AIM-9M, AIM-120

Each squadron at Aviano has at least one aircraft with the new Have Glass V paint scheme applied which is also represented in this package.

I loved the XL! It was a lovely looking beast. Taking into account what they now hang on the C, or bolt on the top of, it would have more sense to keep this version.

MIKE JG wrote: 27 Feb 2021, 15:39 Weescotty is only working on P3D models.

MIKE JG is only doing FS9 models.

The FSDS files are sharable between sim platforms so any work one of us does can be used for the other sim version.
Thanks for that.

And do you work at the same time on the same source file ? To eventually release the same model for the differents FS (FS9, FSX/P3D) ?

I see AFTI F-16 for P3D. This models will be also available for FS9 ? And the future F-16XL ?

Thanks.

No Kevin works on what interests him and I do the same. The idea is to save the source files so that they can be shared between us if needed.

Do not expect all models to be made for both versions of the sim platform.

Hi Mike...
If you would like the AFTI FSDS files I can get them to you.
You would only need to add the pilot and warning flags back to it. (Do not add the nose 'pitot' cover and flag).
Although it is only 3 LODs (4 with the papaer plane) there would only ever be one of them at any time in the sim, so I don't think it would make that much difference???

All models and paints done for Aviano. Time to package it all up. :smt023

Not doing flight plans. Not doing voicepacks. Don't ask.

John Stinstrom has already done excellent Aviano scenery.

Package will be paints and models only.
