Old is gold

Post by tango234 »

I've been fiddling with flightplans to get this flying between East Kirkby and Duxford. I'd say it worked rather well!

And a bonus showing the view from the East Kirkby picnic benches.

Thanks John. There is never a bad time for increasing the number of warbirds flying around in the sim.

Looking very good, John.

Too bad there aren't any AI Halifax, Blenheim, Wellington, etc.

Yes, some more of those would be very nice. I still have hope that Dean will come up with a P/RF-61 AI.
Cheers,

There are lots of them - you just have to fly CFS2 :smt005

Continuing on a theme, here is the interesting corner of Coningsby:

Yes, there are two lancasters.

All but one of the BBMF (the remaining one never had a repaint done as far as I am aware-maybe because the spitfire variant wasn't modelled?) are actually in shot, but three of them are behind the hangar!

I spent a few months working in that building on the left, rearranging the microfiche spares database and preparing it for acceptance by computer systems in 1979 - I was an ex-fighter pilot, and a shortly-to-be Hercules pilot. Sadly, all the aeroplanes were grounded while I was there, but me and the legendary Jacko Jackson, and a few engineers, kept the spirit alive.
