Touch & Go's

Post by Garysb »

Ok its been a while, can someone refresh my memory
Why do some aircraft do a missed approach while others land then take off.
Just did some simple 152 plans but it lands and then takes off but runs out of runway but I remember some of the fighters never actually touch down.

Cheers

I'm talking about FS9.
Ususally with a IFR flightplan, the aircraft do not touch the runway. With a VFR flightplan, aircraft lands, accelarate and take off again.

Giorgio is correct. The approach is determined by whether the plan leg is IFR or VFR.
