A piece of info came out today that might be of some use to people in the flightsim world.

For those of you in the know one of the systems being developed for Windows 11 is WSA, Windows Susbystem for Android. This will basically allow you to run android apps on Windows 11. It sounds like it is an android emulator built into Windows.
The system is now available for people based in the US, the rest of the world will no doubt get it once it has been proven that the Americans can handle it.

The information I found today is that the resources to run WSA are 64 GB of space on an SSD. A HD will not be fast enough to run it.
So if you are a person that has a fairly small SSD but would like to run android apps it may be time to plan ahead to increase your SSD or M.2 space.

The sort of flightsim apps that would be used on this would be FsRadioPanel, FsPFDPanel and FsVfrMap by Tambucho that allow you to navigate, operate the comms and autopilot onan android device.
