Yeah doing such things do cause problems but it is not like the old days where if it ran on Windows 3.11 it probably wouldn't run on W95 and definitely not on W98.

With FS9 apart from the withdrawal of the protection software the biggest issue I have found is that FS9 throws a wobbly if you have more than one monitor, for installation. Not bad considering.
