Isn't it also possible to do that with ACM? Could be a solution for you John.

I appreciate that very much. Candidly though the whole scenery thing has been such a pain in the nethers that I can no longer bring myself to really care . I'll include a note about my ineptitude in the readme and probably another ADE that will allow users to retain crash-on at the cost of some photo-realism.

The trucks are from the Mark Griggs Trucks 33169.BGL which is included with the package.

The textures you are looking for are:
MG_MAN_TRUCK1.BMP
MG_MAN_TRUCKGREEN.BMP

I've seen it where the textures need to be in the main texture folder before they are picked up.

Hope this helps.

Where have you got the library bgl file installed?
Generally speaking, unless told otherwise never put the textures anywhere but the /texture folder associated with the /scenery folder that the bgl resides in.

The bgl for the trucks :Mark Griggs Trucks 33169.BGL :and all the other ones that come with the pack are in Grosseto (LIRS) scenery and all the textures are in Grosseto (LIRS) texture folder .
Back to how it was installed
Still Grey trucks

I have tried with them removed from MAIW Scenery Library Objects FS9 and also tried with them removed from Grosseto (LIRS) texture folder

In which case the most logical thing hat could be causing this is that the scenery is being loaded before the textures are available.

So if you have the MAIW FS9 Global libs package installed, copy the bgl from MGs lib into that /scenery folder and the textures into that /texture folder.

The reason for doing this is that the Global libs are designed to be loaded earlier than any scenery and therefore are available to be called by any scenery with a higher layer number.

If this works, and if it doesn't then you really have something mixed up, then you can tidy things up.

You should be able to move the bgl to Addon Scenery/scenery and the textures to Addon Scenery/texture and have the same effect.
UNLESS you are one of those people that has the Addon Scenery folder at the top of their FS9 scenery list as you put all sorts of stuff in there. If that is the case then you will get the same effect as the bgl won't get loaded until after the LIRS scenery.

I hope this makes sense.
