Thanks Aaron, we'll make sure that gets included in the final version that gets uploaded to AVSIM.

Not an overall package issue, but AI issue with the HTAI C-23's based out of RI. I noticed watching them on traffic explorer cruise (at altitude, enroute) with full flaps at about 115KIAS. I know Sherpa's are not speed demons, but cruising with full flaps!?! Is there an airfile adjustment I can quickly make?

I will confess that I haven't looked into this properly, so I am making some snap assumptions here.

First off what height are we talking about? As the service ceiling is FL120, I am hoping that its not above that as it would mean that we have not been as accurate with our plans as we could have been.

If it is above FL120 try reducing the height to see if this solves the problem. Let us know whether the height is an issue or not.

I have tried to download part 1 a couple of times and am getting error messages on it

Some data in your zip file is damaged-CRC check failed

also came up with this error message

Extracting to "C:\Users\User\Documents\Unzipped\MAIW Great Lakes ANG Part 1\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: yes
Extracting MAIW Great Lakes ANG Part 1.exe
CRC check failed
Error: Unable to extract "C:\Users\User\Documents\Unzipped\MAIW Great Lakes ANG Part 1\MAIW Great Lakes ANG Part 1.exe".

The size of the extracted file (31266004) does not match the uncompressed size (31266002) recorded in the Zip file

I have just tried it again and the package downloaded fine. I also tried running the exe to extract the files to a manual location. This was also fine.

If you have had more than failure with this error then I am guessing that you maybe using a download accelerator. Try disabling it and download again.

The behavior you describe of full flaps and gear down sounds like what we would see when we used FS2002 flight dynamics in FS2004 where the cruise_speed= setting was in KIAS, not KTAS.

I don't see anything like that in the files created from the MAIW package.

Did you consolidate folders by putting the repaints in another Sh330 folder you had on your computer?

That's exactly where I downloaded it from last night. I do not use any download accelerators. Just the standard Firefox download and it came clean first time. This why either I think you are are using an accelerator, which is known to cause problems with sites such as avsim, or you are using a caching or proxy site and that has got a corrupt copy, you could try clearing your cache and/or disabling and proxy servers that you are using.

You say your texture fix is for AC 119 85-511 (to replace the erronious AC 119 85-151).

But I take it what you mean is that your texture fix is for AC 119 85-1511, not AC 119 85-511?

Have I got that right?

Also, the file is 1.33 Mb, whereas the original was only 1.0 Mb. Will this still be ok to run with the other textures (ie. I'm guessing the compression is different)?

Many thanks

When a scheme is sized 1.33mb instead of 1mb this would indicate that it has been saved with mip maps. You can remove these if you like.

Found an error by accident today, i was playing at willow grove, doing some retro squadrons and was wondering why the heck the A-10s were parking all over the airfield, i went and checked and noticed that their parking id was 103F instead of 111F, i fixed it and here is a updated cfg for the MAIW_RWAI_A-10A GLANG2 folder to make them park correctly.

FYI,
For those trying to keep up with BRAC 2005 unit moves, as mentioned in the GLANG1 readme, in GLANG2 the following unit has disbanded and moved airframes to other units:

111th FW, 103rd FS- PA ANG A-10's at NAS Willow Grove (KNXX)

Sorry to bring up a old topic but I was using ACA2005 to check a fix errors in flightplans and stuff. One error it caught was "aircraft not assigned to a flightplan". The error was for 7 KC-135's, they are from Rickenbacker and the numbers are 71469, 00367, 23531, 72593, 91444, 38013, and 23511. Any idea what could be wrong?

ACA2005 also found the error for 57-1441 a KC-135 from Wisconsin ANG as "aircraft not assigned to a flightplan".

Joseph, I just re-installed those packages last week and I just now ran ACA2005 and it came back with no errors for either of those two packs. Do you have duplicate flight plan files installed or duplicate Aircraft.cfg entries for those aircraft in your folders somewhere??
