Are you sure you haven't got an addon mesh or landclass for the UK? That's probably it.
No. I've got standard mesh etc for the the whole of the UK. I have a few add-on passenger airports, but nothing in the vicinity.

Just wanted to express my thanks to all involved in this package. Its a lovely addon for my UK scenery and traffic, and takes me back to my Air Cadet days flying out of Cambridge. Mid you, it was Chipmunks in those days

John.

I loved flying the Chippy out of RAF Shawbury, in my Cadet days too.

Have just been doing a bit of housekeeping on my ever sprawling FS9 installation, renaming aircraft, running flightplans through AIFP to iron out errors etc etc and I noticed, or rather AIFP noticed AC#20, G-BYYA at RAF Leeming has a few legs at 0ft altitude. Is this a bug or a workaround for a particular problem? It's a great package and I'm busy fiddling with my UK2000 AFCADs to accomodate everything!! A belated thanks!!!

A height of 0' for a leg is definitely not meant to be there.

Ok, so we've ascertained it's a bug and not a taxy test! Any idea what the altitudes should be?? I can copy the altitudes from another aircraft at Leeming, but it would be nice to know what alt's the author intended. Just me being anal I suppose!!

Well as they are all made up anyway why not look at the leg and decide what you think it should be. For example if it is circuit training then 020 or 030, if it is a short transit then maybe 080 if a longer transit then go higher.
The reason I say this is not to be difficult it is purely that even the author may not know/remember.

You're right, seems like I missed the ",00," for altitudes when correcting Nick's original plans.

As it's a VFR flight, something around 1500ft to 2000ft would be appropriate for a navigation, taking into account there's not a lot of elevation there.

All but one leg with ",00," stay in the circuit at Leeming anyway so the pattern altitude will overrule whatever you set it to.

Thanks for the explanations guys. I really don't understand flightplans and their construction just yet. I used to use TTools which didn't show errors to the degree that AIFP does. I'll stick to painting just now and learning a few more AFCAD/ADE tricks!!
