just an update to above threads. Solved the problem of loading MCX by updating my motherboard! After I 'd rebooted, MCXv1.4 loaded OK!

Am now trying to convert MAIW Scenery Libaries to work in P3Dv2.4 and if I'm correct I need to convert all the texture .bmps to .dds format??

Well, I don't understand whats going on here because I've downloaded the latest release of ModelConverterX v1.4 but every time I right click and use "Run as Administrator" on the .exe symbol I get a error message up as before with the following details:-

I've been reading with interest the two threads on converting MAIW scenery files so that they will appear within P3D but am having no luck in trying to get ModelConverterX_1.3 to work on my computer which is running Win 7 64bit, it keeps crashing on selecting the exec file.
