Can anyone explain to me why I cant make the throttle work. I cant make it work with the joystick or by try to click on it with the mouse. All the buttons work on the joystick! Most confused! thanks scott1

No I can see the folders in the addon secenery but when I high light them to put them into the scenery library it just opens the folder.

I had windows vista on my computer and upgraded to windows 7. Now I can't add any scenery to FSX from the addon scenery folder any thoughts would be most helpful. Thanks Scott1

Can anyone who has the top gun package installed in fsx send me a copy of your converted flight plans. My IA setting is set to the max. I have all the maiw packages installed in fsx. I have ai aircraft all over the world with no problems. I'm so confused. Thanks Scott1

Still having the problem have reinstalled the package tried converting the flight plans again. With no luck no aircraft show up. Ever other package that I've installed works great ai aircraft are there and flight plans are working all 10 other packages work great. I'm at a loss.

Can anyone tell why I can't get the ai aircraft at NAS Miramar to show up. I converted the flight plans and the aircraft are in the correct folder. I have also installed Tyndall AFB, Luke AFB, Hill AFB and Langley, all without any problems. Any thoughts from anybody would be most helpful. Thanks ...

I have the same issue. So I have to go start/control panel/windows firewall and turn it off. Thats the only way I can download from avsim. Hope this helps

That was the problem mine was on the desktop. I moved it to another folder and it works now. Thanks for the help.

here's a funny thing. If you install the package into fsx it works without using any of the conversion programs. I have Osan installed in fsx and it has ai aircraft at the base and in the air.

I'm having a problem finding the config file in question to edit it. Ican find up to my name but can't seem to locate Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\fsx.cfg. thanks scott1
