yes, if in doubt, either manual install or scan the whole fsx folder.

that's not worked.... all it did was add more tucanos

EDIT: I've deleted the questionable file from the tucano traffic file conversion, that did nothing, so i'm scanning the whole FSX folder for FS9 traffic files, that solved the problem nicely, I'm back to a sky full of harriers, tutors and kingairs

good idea, normally i just check the scenery/world/scenery folder fs9 traffic i've only installed 1-2 packages recently so it could be in there. it's strange how AI works in certain areas though, including default planes.

just scanned for fs9 files in the addon scenery folder, and there were loads ...

i always convert the traffic files as i install the packages, so they're all converted to FSX. it did say something strange about one of them saying something about it already being converted. could be worth re installing the package into a separate folder and properly converting that file.

i've installed the RAF tucanos package into fsx, that works fine, but my problem is this, I've lost my AI for certain areas, for example, i have no AI tutors, (or ACG kingairs) for cranwell and Barkston, but i do have tornadoes at lossiemouth. it seems i've lost some of my non-MAIW AI aircraft in ...

Interesting. Let's check this too. There is an MAIW_KNPA_exclude file, which was in my MAIW Exclusions folder. Ah, and I see there are two other files in that folder, called Pensacola Exclude Default 1 and Pensacola Exclude Default 2. These last two come with the scenery package... so I had them ...

ah, i had mine up to 100%, so i hope it'll be a duplicate afcad thing as i may have had some scenery installed before installing this

so all everything that's been tried doesn't work/ doesn't make sense, so I'm beginning to think it's just one of those things for fs9 that just wont work in fsx.

OK, i forgot i had a duplicate afcad locator on my computer, but i will have a look for the excludes too, this may be tomorrow though as i don't have access to my fs computer. thanks for the help,

i know i converted and deleted the fs2004 traffic file, so the mystery of the missing Pensacola Texans continues...

I'll take a look for duplicate afcads, only question i have, is where are they found???

Pensacola texans in fsx

can someone, somewhere help me with this,

i've done everything it tells me to do, and read the faq's in the readme, i've converted the traffic files to fsx, turned traffic settings to 100% but i still have no traffic, i do however have the scenery.

i appreciate it's probably already been asked ...
