Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
I wanted to have Osan AB on my sim, but it is one that I cannot use. There are a few others, and I will need to go back and look to see which ones those are.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
I found out that there are some sceneries that I cannot use in P3Dv6 that comes from older FS which is too bad because I would love to have them in my Flight Sim.

I found out what my problem was, I think. I had a scenery for Seattle, but it was for a lower P3D sim.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
Deleted P3D and everything that went with it, then reinstalled it. So far, so good. Now, is there a way to get shockwave lights to work with P3D?

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
Well if you do not have P3Dv5 installed then I think the smart thing to do is to make sure that it is uninstalled, and do any manual clean-up that might be required.
Your original pic shows that AIFP found both v5 and v6, and your cfg definitely has both in it.
Hopefully, you can cleanly get rid ...

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
Well there is one issue that i can see straight away. Whether it is what is causing your issue or not I don't know.
You have the path to P3Dv5 and P3Dv6 set to the same. That should not be the case. Do you actually have both installed? If so point the P3Dv5 installation to the correct location ...

Development Updates=False

I changed mine to read what you wrote. It was the opposite.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
This is my AIFP3.ini file and what it shows. I have apparently loaded this on all hard drives now because it won't load anywhere.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
Robert, do you have AIFP in multiple locations on your computer?
Your AIFP.ini doesn't indicate your P3DV5 and P3DV6 .exe locations. But your screenshot shows AIFP only working with P3DV5 & 6, as those are your options.
This is all that comes up now when I do a search for AIFP3 on my computer.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
OK well I do not have P3D so I can't help you with that part of the setup, but it is obvious that the program loads so it has to be something to do with your P3D setup.
The other thing is that I do not need to run it as Administrator. You might need to if it is in a protected folder on a drive ...

I can install it anywhere on my system and it works exactly the same.

Re: AIFP3 NOT WORKING
Is it possible that you can email me what your AIFP.ini file says?Firebird wrote: 12 Jul 2025, 06:26 Yes, that is where your set up is stored. By renaming it it will create a new one but you will have a copy so that you can refer to it/copy across and parms.

Yup. Whatever caused it to not work on the C drive was, whatever it was. Put on my D drive and it works just fine.
Thank you everyone for your advice.

Re: Where do I place the "label" in the CFG file
I don't know if this will help, but some time ago I had an issue with AIFP somewhat similar to yours.
It actually turned out that I had entries in my scenery configuration library with incorrect paths to them. Once that had been taken care of, AIFP worked like a charm again.
To figure this one ...
