No AI aircraft in some MAIW packages. ie RAF Lakenheath, Luke AFB, Seymour Johnson AFB , Grandforks AFB and others. I downloaded most of the USAF bases and aircraft projects and starting with the oldest packages 1st I ran the installer to a clean FS 2004 (No addons). After each install I started up FS 2004 to check if AI aircraft were present and that the traffic files were working. All were fine until I loaded RAF Lakenheath, no error notices came up however when I checked out RAF Lakenheath no AI aircraft (F-15 C/D/E) were on the ramp and no AI traffic. Checked the files and all were loaded into the proper files location. Continued up the list and had the same issue with Luke AFB, Seymour Johnson AFB, Grand Forks AFB and eight other packages have the same issue no AI aircraft and no AI traffic. Also when I loaded Seaboard ANG V2 looks like some of the Andrews AFB Transport and Andrews AFB Transport update aircraft and for sure the Boeing 747 Air Force One disappeared from Andrews AFB.
My settings in Traffic:
Airline and General Aviation Box checked
Air Traffic density 89%
Thanks

I believe your traffic needs to be set to 100% to see the traffic.

89% should be fine to see our traffic, double check to make sure the traffic bgls are in the proper folder.
Re: No AI aircraft for FS2004(FS9)
It does help that you say that you have no addons. It makes tracking your issue down a lot easier.
I will assume that when you say that that you have checked that you have no additional afcads installed as well. If I am wrong here let us know.
The chances are that the cause of one of your problems is the cause of all of them. So if we concentrate on one then it may avoid confusion.
So lets choose Lakenheath. Can you confirm that you have activated the scenery folder in FS9, as per the readme, and that when you check for EGUL afcads, using the AFCAD tool that you have 2 afcads shown. The default one and the one in the folder that you added.

Don't you guys have a stock checklist to post after all these years?

Re: No AI aircraft for FS2004(FS9)
Thanks for all the help. Firebird hit it right on the head, I did not add the packages to the addon in settings/scenery libary. After adding RAF Lakenheath and other packages the AI aircraft and traffic are present. One question I have is in FS2004 is the addon different then FSX? When I added the MAIW packages in FS2004 and re-started FS2004 checked out the different locations to see if all was working, which they were. When I rechecked the Settings/Scenery library none of the packages were listed, in FSX they are visable until the area is removed.
Have a copy of the MAIW FSX installation Guide 2.0 next step to covert all of the packages I have to FSX Gold Edition.
Thanks
